Wilma "Jo" Josephine (Cooper) Shanks

Wilma "Jo" Josephine Shanks, age 93 of Salem, passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021 at 3:12 am, in Salem Crossing Salem.

Born August 8, 1927 in Wauseon, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late William Joseph and Laura Elizabeth (Mattin) Cooper.

She was a homemaker and a retired employee of Sears Catalog Department.     

On June 12, 1957 she married  William Kenneth Shanks, who survives .

Daughter: Julie Kathleen Malone of Salem, Indiana
Daughter: Laura Jeanne Hawks of Michigan City, Indiana
Son: Stephen Clarke Shanks of Portland, Oregon
Son: Philip Cooper Shanks of Pleasanton, California.
1 granddaughter: Hope Shanks
