Valarie Annette (Claywell) Moon

Valarie Annette Moon, age 56 of Orleans, Indiana passed away Thursday June 9, 2022, in North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Born December 27, 1965 in Columbia, Kentucky, she was the daughter of Oscar and Alice (Stotts) Claywell.
She loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. You could always catch her capturing a photo and she was an avid gardener who loved canning and sharing her handiwork.

Survivors include:  2 Sons: Robert D. (Amanda) Cole Jr. of Paoli and Joseph D. Cole of Carlisle, Indiana;  Daughter: Alicia (Sean) R. Osborne of Dry Ridge, Kentucky; Her father and stepmother: Oscar and Betty Claywell;  2 brothers Tim Claywell and Brad Claywell; Sister: Jackie Stinnett and 7 Grandchildren: Scottie, Sophia, Kindall, Sesley, Oaklynn, Payton and Ruby.

She was preceded in death by her mother; 2 brothers: Marc Claywell and Scott Claywell; and the father of her children: Robert D. Cole, Sr.

Visitation: Thursday from 5 pm to 7 pm
Funeral Service: 7:00 pm Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Pastor Greg Strother officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Orange County Humane Society in her honor.
