Tony Lynn Jackson, age 69 of Pekin, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2020 in the Southern Indiana Rehabilitation Hospital New Albany.
Born January 24, 1951 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, he was the son of the late Tom and Eunice (Potts) Jackson.
He retired from G. E. in Louisville after 32 years of service, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Pekin, had been a resident of Washington County for the past 49 years and loved to rabbit hunt, fish and play with his grandchildren.
On September 4, 1971 he married Helen (Fleming) Jackson, his wife of 49 years, who survives.
Also surviving are: 3 Sons: Joe (Ruthie) Lewellen of New Washington, Indiana,
Scott (Robin) Lewellen and Michael Lewellen, both of Pekin; 3 Brothers: Ted Jackson of Corbin, Kentucky, Jimmy (Alice Fitzgerald) Jackson of Sellersburg and Troy (Sherri) Jackson of Borden; 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and a host of friends and family.
He was preceded in death by 1 son, Todd Jackson, 3 brothers: Tommy, Terry and Tracy Jackson and 1 great granddaughter, Isabella Lewellen.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Monday at First Baptist Church of Pekin, followed by interment in Olive Branch Cemetery.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Sunday at Dawalt Funeral Home and 9 am until the time of the service on Monday at First Baptist Church of Pekin.
