Thomas Dean "Dino" Waggoner

Thomas Dean "Dino" Waggoner, age 67 of Pekin, Indiana passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 10:03 pm, in Baptist Health Floyd New Albany, Indiana.
Born May 24, 1955 in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Charles Paul Waggoner and Betty Jean (Jekel) Waggoner.
Resident of Washington County since 1989, formerly of Clark County, he was a graduate of Silver Creek High School and on September 21, 1973 he married Diane Lee (Rothbauer) Waggoner.
Thomas was a loving husband to his wife of 49 years, father to his 2 daughters, Poppy to his 5 grandchildren, and a friend to many.  He was a retired Sprinkler Fitter of UA Local 669 National Automatic Sprinkler Fitters, he farmed and raised cattle, and enjoyed working with his hands as a crafter of knives, axes, arrowheads, & jewelry to share with others.   He was a faithful Christian servant and He had a passion for "planting the mustard seed" to his family and everyone he met in life.  A friend once told him "If you feel like you can't carry on in life, do it for Jesus". 

Survivors include:
Wife: Diane Lee (Rothbauer) Waggoner
Daughter: Lacy Jo Carter (Tobias Switzer) of Salem, Indiana;
Daughter: January Myers (Matt) of Pekin, Indiana.
Grandchildren: Waydon, Sutton and Ruby Carter, Hadley and Lane
Sprinkle, Step grandchildren: Reece and Rhett Myers.

He was preceded in death by 2 sisters.

There will be no public services at this time.
