Steve R. Morgan, age 71 of Salem, passed away Sunday, February 23, 2020, in his residence.
Born May 26, 1948 in Toledo, Ohio, he was the son of the late Wilson and Flora Margaret (Smith) Morgan.
He was a retired member of the Local Laborers Union 795 and had been a life resident of Washington County. He served during the Vietnam War as a Sp4 in the U. S. Army, was a life member of Salem American Legion Cecil Grimes Post #41, the Salem V. F. W. Post #6636 and the Salem Moose Lodge #2380.
On February 25, 1967 he married Donna J. (Floyd) Morgan, who survives.
Also surviving are: 2 Sons: Richard L. Morgan and Charles E. Morgan of Salem; Brother: Scott Cole of Little York; Sister: Judy Hathway of Greenville, Ohio; 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 2 sons, Charles Jeffery and Michael Roy Morgan and 1 great grandchild.
Funeral Service: 6:00 pm Tuesday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Mike Cook officiating.
Visitation: 11 am until the time of the service on Tuesday.
