Obituary
Shirley A. Stewart, age 81 of Pekin, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022, in her residence.
Born March 24, 1941 in Salem, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Dora Mae (Souder) Senn.
She was a retired cook with the East Washington School System for 20 years, was a member of the Blue River Baptist Church and had been a life resident of Washington County. She loved to crochet, quilt, gardening and being with her grandchildren.
On June 15, 1958, she married Eugene Stewart, who survives.
Also surviving are: 2 Sons: Dennis and Kenna Stewart; A Daughter: Tammy (Jerry) Fickas; 2 Brothers: John and Jerry Senn; A Sister: Sandy Saulmon; Grandkids: Cody (Bri) Chisham, Lacey Chisham, Lindsey Stewart, Alexander (Lindsi) Fickas, Haley Chisham, Kaitlyn Stewart, Rachel Stewart, Jacob Stewart and Zachary Fickas and Great grandson: Xander Scott Gene Chisham.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Tuesday at Blue River Baptist Church followed by interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Monday at Dawalt Funeral Home and 11 am until the time of the service on Tuesday at the church.
