Norma Jean (Wynn) Gibson

Norma Jean Gibson, age 93 of Salem, Indiana passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 05:50 pm, in Meadow View Health & Rehabilitation Salem, Indiana. Born April 15, 1930 in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. Wynn  and Alpha B. (Money) Wynn.

Life resident of Washington County she was a resident of the Beck's Mill area for 37 year before moving to Salem for the last 27 years.  

On April 11, 1953 she married Will Gibson whom preceded her in death. 

Norma Jean was an employee for 24 years as a cabinet sprayer at Hoosier Cabinet Factory in New Albany, Indiana, then spent 15 years at Amaray in Pekin, Indiana as a sprayer and quality control officer.

Survivors include:   
Son: Bradley Wynn of Salem, Indiana;   
Daughter: Pauline Sullivan of Salem, Indiana;   
Son: Henry Gibson of Salem, Indiana;   
Daughter: Rowena Frederick of Salem, Indiana.      
many many grandchildren, several great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren, with 2 baby girls on the way. 

She was preceded in death by 1 son Troy, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.  

Visitation: 3 to 7 pm Friday and after 11:30 am Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home  with Pastor Toney Voyles officiating.   Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem, Indiana.
