Michael "Mike" Lynn Baker

Michael "Mike" Lynn Baker, age 63 of Salem, passed away Saturday August 22, 2020 in U of L
Hospital- Jewish Campus. Born August 8, 1957 in Salem, Indiana to the late Lindbergh and
Shirley (Huckleberry) Baker. He was the Owner/ Operator of Baker Trucking and Logging, he
had been a life resident of Washington County and was a 1975 graduate of Eastern High
School. He is survived by his wife Melinda "Linda"(Mull) Baker, daughter Lindsey Baker, three
sons Morgan Baker(Nicole), Michael Aaron Baker, and Corey Baker. He is also survived by his
sisters: Vicki Nelson(Donnie) and Teresa Smith(Jeff) all of Salem and nine grandchildren Mason,
Madison, Makinsey, Krissa, Hunter, Maya, Adalynn, Natalie, and Jordan. He is also survived by
his logging family.
Funeral services 11 am Friday August 28, 2020 at Dawalt Funeral Homes, Inc. with Interment in
Crown Hill Cemetery.
Visitation 4-8 Thursday August 27 and 9 a.m. Friday August 28, 2020
