Michael Allen Ehrsam, age 65 of Salem, passed away Monday, March 15, 2021, in Ascension St. Vincent Salem Hospital.

Born February 15, 1956 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana, he was the son of the late Rex Allen and Geraldine Marie (Coyne) Ehrsam.

He was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse with Brownsburg Health Care, a member of the Masonic Lodge and received an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University.

On February 1, 1975, he married Deborah Sue (Branstetter) Ehrsam, who survives.

Also surviving are: 1 Son: Michael Allen Ehrsam II of Dallas, Texas; 3 Sisters: Julie Wafford of Indianapolis, Angela Lofton and Mary Phillips of Avon, Indiana; and 1 Brother: Eric Ehrsam of Mooresville, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother.

Services will be held at a later date and Dawalt Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
