Mary Jeanette Jordan, age 74 of Salem, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at 11:55 am, in University Of Louisville Hospital.
Born September 24, 1944 in Bedford, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Horace and Dorothy (Harris) Harris.
She had been a resident of Washington County for the past 17 years, formerly of Celina, Ohio. She was an avid reader and loved computers and books.
Mary was married to Michael McVay for over 20 years and he preceded her in death.
Survivors include: 2 Daughters: Regina (Arthur) Goldman and Toni Terrell, both of Salem; Son: Paul (Patty) Brown Jr. of Salem; 1 Brother: Raymond Harris of Ohio; 15 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Leo Harris.
Arrangements were entrusted to Dawalt Funeral Home.
There will be a Celebration of Life Service Friday January 4th at 3 pm at the New Hope United Methodist Church.
