Mary Jean Bowling, age 79 of Salem, Indiana passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 1:15 am, in Baptist Health Floyd New Albany, Indiana.
Born June 17, 1944 in , Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late William Golan and Ellen Ioda (Powell) Whelan.
She was a retired employee of the old Childcraft Industries Salem, Indiana
On July 20, 1987 she married Arthur Bowling, who survives.
Also surviving are: 2 daughters: Karen Lundergan of Virginia and Julie Mohamed of Lexington, Indiana; 2 sons: Daniel Lawrence Lundergan of Salem and Michael Shane Lundergan of Madison, Indiana; 3 sisters: Joyce Harris of New York, Darlene Wheeler and Kay Godbey, both of of Radcliff, Kentucky; 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Pete & Kenny Whelan.
