Larry D. Adams, age 74 of Salem, passed away Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at 10:55 pm, in his residence.
Born January 15, 1947 in Jeffersonville, Indiana, he was the son of the late Francis and Emma (Mursau) Adams.
He retired from Tecumseh Products in Salem and was a former employee of Kimball International. He had been a life resident of Washington County and was a member of the Salem V.F.W. Post #6636. Larry loved his family, camping and fishing at Delaney Lake and was a NASCAR and UK Basketball fan.
On December 23, 1995 he married Priscilla (Hayes) Adams, who survives.
Also surviving are: Son: George (Darlene) Warren of Salem; 2 Daughters: Holly (Donnie) Benningfield of Bullitt County, Kentucky and Stacy (Woody) Murphy of Louisville; his granddaughter and caregiver: Blanch Warren;
his hospice caregiver: Jennifer Smith; 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 2 sons: Jeffrey Adams and Robby Warren Jr.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home followed by interment in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Visitation: 2 to 8 pm Friday and after 10 am Saturday until the time of the service.
