Kenneth Eugene Spaulding

Kenneth Eugene Spaulding, age 98 of Salem, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022, in his residence.

Born January 4, 1924, in Hammond, Indiana, he was the son of the late Wilson and Sadie (Sutton) Spaulding.

He was a retired owner of the old Spaulding Sewing Center in Salem, attended the High Street Church of Christ and served in WW II as a Tech 4 in the U.S. Army.

On January 1, 1944, he married Alice Virginia (Martin) Spaulding, who passed away May 9, 2018.

Survivors include:  2 Daughters: Karen Elaine Sumner and Sherri Lynn Wright, both of Salem; 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: 1 daughter: Deborah Sue Spaulding.

Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Friday at Dawalt Funeral Home, followed by interment in Crown Hill Cemetery with Full Military Honors.

Visitation: 9 am until the time of the service on Friday.
