Johnny M. Stephens

Johnny M. Stephens, age 66 of Salem, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022.

Born November 28, 1955 in Washington County, he was the son of John William (Bill) and Pauline (Deaton) Stephens.

Johnny was a retiree of Local 175 Carpenters Union, working in heavy highway and power plant construction.

He was an avid car and motorcycle enthusiast and loved to hunt and fish.

On July 16, 1977 he married Jo Dee (Tash) Stephens, who survives.

Also surviving are: Daughter: Nicolette (Zachary) Byrum and Son: Caleb (Brandi) Stephens; 1 granddaughter and 4 grandsons.  He is also survived by his  Mother, 2 Sisters: Rita (Duane) Roach and Linda Walls; 6 nephews, 3 great nieces and 7 great nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father and brother-in-law, Steve Walls.

Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home, followed by interment in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Visitation: 11 am until the time of the service on Saturday
