Jessie Maude Jackson, age 63 of Borden, Indiana, passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and family on Wednesday, March 16, 2022, in her residence.
Born July 19, 1958 in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Harold Daum and Mary Corrine (Basham) Shaw.
She was a retired co-owner of the Jackson Cabinet Installation and was a member of the Baptist Faith. She had been a resident of Clark County since 1975, formerly of Georgetown, Indiana. Jessie loved her family, raising goats, gardening, crafting, canning and making toboggan hats for the homeless at Exit 0 in Jeffersonville. She loved being outside and was always on the go.
On October 1, 1976 she married Randall Brent Jackson, who survives. They were married for 45 years.
Also surviving are: 2 Daughters: Amber (Richard) Roberts and Susie (Ben) Jackson; Brother: Robert Louis Shaw; Sister: Mary Ruth Lawrence; Grandchildren: Kenzie and Jackson Ziel and Casey and Ariel Roberts and a close circle of friends and family who will miss her dearly.
She was preceded in death by :Her parents and siblings Mattie Richardson, Sylvia Allen, Junnie Shaw, Sonny Shaw and Troy Shaw.
The services will be private.
