Jerry Leon Wilson, Sr.

Jerry L. Wilson, Sr., age 79 of Campbellsburg, Indiana passed away
Thursday, March 2, 2023 at 8:35 pm, in Columbus Regional Hospital.
Born January 5, 1944 in Campbellsburg, he was the son of the late Royal
Clifton Wilson and Lela Grace (Edwards) Wilson.
He was a life resident of Washington County and was a life long farmer
and always put his family first.  Jerry enjoyed fishing, farming and
entertaining family and friends.  Jerry was a True Believer and on April
15, 1960 he married Bonnie Jean (Jones) Wilson, who passed away June 30,
2019.

Survivors include:
2 sons: Troy D. (Teresa Marie) Wilson and Jerry L. (Melissa Renée)
Wilson, Jr. both of Campbellsburg.
4 Sisters: June Green, Virginia Jones, both of Campbellsburg; Nancy
Hamilton of Crothersville and Darlene Nicholson of Bedford. 7
Grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and 2 more on the way.

He was preceded in death by daughter: Sherry Lee (Darrell Lee)
Zeigenbein and 2 sons: Clifton Paul and Eddie Lee Wilson and 1 Sister,
Dana Nicholson

Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Monday and 9 to 11 am Tuesday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Tuesday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Pastor Don
Hicks officiating.
Committal and Interment will follow the service at Freedom Cemetery near
Mitchell, Indiana.
