Jeffrey Lee Nelson, age 62, went to be with his Heavenly Father on December 25, 2021.
Born October 31, 1959, to the late James Nelson and Sharon (Cauble) Nelson.
A lifelong resident of Salem, Indiana, he graduated from Salem High School and retired from Kimball.
He had a love for racing (mostly Nascar), the ponies, gambling, the ocean, concerts, traveling, and family vacations. His greatest love and what he was most proud of were his children and grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, siblings: Dan Nelson, Robbie Nelson and Sherri Merola.
He is survived by his mother, siblings: Denny Nelson, Ronnie Nelson and Mindy Guthrie.
His Children and grandchildren: Holly Nelson (Malacai McKinney) and Tommy Nelson (Autumn, Tommy Jr. and Nathan Neslon).
He was of Baptist Faith and Dawalt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements and there will be no services at this time.
He will be greatly missed by many and at his request memorial contributions should be made to:
