Jason Richard Hopkins

Jason Richard Hopkins, age 49, passed away Wednesday, September 29 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany surrounded by loved ones.

Born on October 31, 1971, he was the son of Richard Irvin and Sandra Kay (Lashbrooks) Hopkins.

He has been a resident of Washington County for 30 years and was a graduate of Borden High School, Class of 1990. He worked as District Manager at Bearing Headquarters in Jeffersonville, IN for 31 years. 

He is preceded in death by his four grandparents, Loyd and Mary Lashbrooks; and Bill and Katherine Hopkins.

He is survived by his parents, his daughter and son-in-law Rachel Nicole and Christopher Shane Muncy; one granddaughter, Mia Harper Muncy; one brother, Joshua Daron Hopkins and Rachel’s mother, Jessica (Mosley) Morgan. 

Visitation will be held from 12-4 pm on Saturday, October 2nd at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Funeral Service will immediately follow visitation at 4 pm on Saturday.

A Graveside Service will be held 10:00 am Saturday 10/23/21 at Crown Hill Cemetery.
