James Aaron Cole

James Aaron Cole, age 53 of Sellersburg, passed away Tuesday, December 13, 2022, in his residence, surrounded by his loved ones. 

Born September 3, 1969 in Paoli, Indiana, he was the son of James Franklin Cole and Carol (Bartron) Cole.

He was a self employed carpenter and formerly a construction foreman with Gilliatt Construction Company, had been a life resident of Washington County and was a graduate of West Washington High School.

Survivors include: 3 Sons: James Aaron Cole and Jason Lee (Ashtan) Cole of Campbellsburg and Dylan Scott (Kaity) Cole of Salem; 1 Daughter: Katelyn Shelby (Ethan) Raye of Salem; Step-son: Ian Smith of Sellersburg Companion: Kimberly Pulliam of Sellersburg; Mother: Carol Cole of Saltilllo and Grandchildren: Addison Gray, Dalton Fenwick, Aria Cole and Charlotte Raye. Siblings: Robert Cole of Saltillo and Lori Hollen of Salem. 

Preceded in death by his Father James Franklin Cole and siblings Kelly Cole and Brian Cole. 

Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home, followed by interment in Cole Hollow Cemetery.
Visitation: 10 am until the time of the service on Saturday.

Following the services there will be a lunch provided at the Miller's Mini Barn Rec Room located at 6073 South West Washington School Road in Campbellsburg
