Gail D. (Davis) Smith

Gail D. Smith, age 85 of Salem, Indiana passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at 9:58 pm, in Salem Crossing. 

Born March 7, 1936 in Conway, New Hampshire, she was the daughter of the late Philip Shackford Davis Jr. and Esther Mae (Gaffner) Davis. 

She was a1954 graduate of Kennett High School in Conway, NH and was a member of First Baptist Church of Salem.

On October 12, 1958 she married  Rodgers K. Smith, who passed away April 16, 2015. 

Survivors include:   
2 Sons: Philip Rodgers (Teresa) Smith of Mt. Washington, Kentucky and Jeffrey Scott (Rita) Smith of Salem; 1 Daughter: Krista Lynette Martin of Salem; 1 Sister: Judith Ann (Peter) Randall of Eliot, Maine; 10 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 1 sister, Sandra Shackford Ashnault. 

Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Sunday at Dawalt Funeral Home. 
Graveside Service: 11:00 am Monday at Crown Hill Cemetery with Bro. Neil Kenyon officiating.
