Franklin "Frank" Stephens Obituary

Frank Stephens, age 82 of Salem, passed away Thursday, August 5, 2021 in Baptist Health Floyd New Albany.

Born in 1938 at Springville, Tennessee, he was the son of the late Eulis Wade and Evie Lee (Hendrix) Stephens.

He retired in December 2000 from Louisville Chemical Corporation, was a member of the First Baptist Church of Salem and had been a resident of Washington County since 1954.

On September 22, 1956 he married Gladys (Babbs) Stephens, who survives.

Also surviving are:  Daughter: Debbie Matthews of Charlestown;  Son: David Franklin Stephens of Hanover Park, Illinois;  2 grandchildren and 2 great grandsons.

He was preceded in death by twin sons: Jeffery and Jerry, 3 brothers: Bill, Clarence and Doug Stephens and 2 sisters Jean Chandler and Betty Crain.

Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Wednesday at Dawalt Funeral Home, followed by interment in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Tuesday and 11 am until the time of the service on Wednesday.
