Eric Monroe Dugger

Eric Monroe Dugger, age 43 of Bedford, Indiana passed away Thursday, November 2, 2023 at 11:15 am, in his residence.

Born November 3, 1979 in Salem, Indiana, he was the son of John Monroe Dugger and Cathy (Bledsoe) Dugger.  

A resident of Washington County until 1989 when he moved to Bedford and graduated from Bedford North Lawrence High School in 1998.
He was an employee of Rake Cabinet and Countertop Solutions in Bloomington, IN and was a member of the Mountain of Mercy Rehabilitation Center in California.
He enjoyed playing billiards with his father and loved I.U. basketball and gambling at the casino in his spare time.  He loved his family and liked to ride his motorcycle, especially to grandma's for dinner.

Survivors include:   
Mother: Cathy Dugger of Seymour, Indiana;   
Sister and Brother-in-law: Michelle and Chris Bigelow of Bloomington, Indiana;   
Grandmother: Sharon (Ernie) Nolan of Seymour;   
Niece  Abby Vance of Bloomington;   
2 Nephews: Jared Vance and Logan Hackney, both of Bloomington.      
his great niece and nephew, Grayson and Vera Vance and several uncles, aunts and cousins and his favorite 4 legged boys, Hank Monroe and William Eugene.

He was preceded in death by his father, John Dugger and grandparents, Alonzo and Susan Dugger and Frank Bledsoe.

Funeral Service: 2:00 pm Monday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Bro: Nick Applegate officiating, followed by interment at Bunker Hill Cemetery near Salem.
Visitation: 11 am to 2 pm Monday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
