Ellen Christena (Barnett) Hall

Ellen "Chris" Hall, age 75 of Salem, passed away Tuesday, October 13, 2020, in Salem Crossing.

Born April 23, 1945 in Salem, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Leroy and Zerelda (Pruitt) Barnett.

She had been a life resident of Washington County, was a former employee of the old Bata Shoe Company and Lewebb Industries in Salem and babysat for her grandchildren and many others.

On June 17, 1966 she married Kenneth Rex Hall, who passed away February 25, 2015.

Survivors include:  Daughter: Rhea (Patrick) McCue of Salem; Sister: Ethel (Harold) Boblett of Louisville; 3 Grandchildren: Jessica Hunt, Johnathan Hunt and Aidan Mcue and 1 Great Grandson: Finnian Bennett.

She was preceded in death by 3 brothers.

Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home followed by interment in Mt. Carmel Christian Cemetery.
Visitation: 10 am until the time of the service on Saturday.
