Elfriede Margaret Hall, age 86 of Salem, passed away Friday, October 19, 2018 at 10:20 am, in her residence.
Born June 8, 1932 in Lauingen, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Wilhelm Glaser and Emma Börschel.
She retired in 1996 after 31 years with the old Smith Cabinet Manufacturing Company in Salem, had been a resident of Washington County for the past 55 years, formerly of Germany and was a former member of the Homemakers Club.
Survivors include:
3 Sons: David (Michele) Hall of Prospect, Kentucky; Mark (Kathy) Hall of Crestwood, Kentucky and Volker Spitzberg of Ulm, Germany;
Daughter: Sonya (Russell) Brown of Salem;
Brother: Adolf (Maria) Böck of Germany
Sister: Berta Stahl of Germany;
4 grandchildren: Lindsey (Jeff) Taylor; Mathew (Kelsie) Hall, Nolan (Jennifer) Brown and Dr. Rachel Fitzgerald and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
Elfriede will be laid to rest back home in Germany
