Douglas Wayne Brown

Douglas W. Brown, age 63 of Salem, Indiana passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 at 9:35 pm, in his residence. Born February 12, 1960 in Salem, Indiana, he was the son of Pete D. Brown and Doris P. (Webb) Brown. 
 Life resident of Washington County and was a 1978 graduate of Salem High School before attending Indiana University Southeast to study Physical Therapy. 
October 30, 1982 he married Wanda Sue (Brewer) Brown, who survives.
He retired after 29 years from  GKN  in Salem and was a member of the Salem Moose Lodge #2380, the NRA and was a state champion with Rim Fire Rifle Association and serviced as a Vice President of the Livonia Conservation Club.

Survivors include: 
Wife: Wanda Sue (Brewer) Brown  
Sister: Denise (Frank) Newkirk of Salem, Indiana;   
Adopted daughter, Lynn Bell of Palmyra, Indiana;   
Grandsons, A.J. and Cash Stucky of Palmyra, Indiana;  
Extended Family Lori and Kyle Burman of Salem, Indiana.      
He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.  

Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Monday  and 9 to 11 am Tuesday at Dawalt Funeral Home
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Tuesday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Interment following at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem.
