Doris Mae (Puckett) Sansbury

Doris Mae Sansbury, age 88 of Salem, Indiana passed away Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at 3:33 am, in Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. Born October 3, 1935 in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Hubert Puckett and Ruth (Presley) Puckett.
On September 29,1951 she married Harry T. Sansbury, who passed away September 8, 2015. 
She was a member of the First Christian Church of Borden, was a homemaker and a former employee of the old Doe Run Inn in Bradenburg, Kentucky. She loved handmade quilting and spending time with her family.

Survivors include:   
Daughter: Jo Ann (Harold) Jackson of Pekin, Indiana.   
Daughter: Stephanie (Otis) Bennett of Bradenburg, KY.   
8 grandchildren, several great great and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by, her parents and a son, Harry Thomas Sansbury Jr.

Visitation: 10 am to 1 pm Friday at Dawalt Funeral Home with a    
Funeral Service to be held at 1:00 pm Friday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Brian Combs officiating and followed by interment at Kay's Chapel Cemetery near Fredericksburg, Indiana.
