Dick T. Rose, age 83 of Salem, Indiana passed away Friday, June 3, 2022 at 10:54 am, in U of L Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
Born April 11, 1939 in Alcorn, Kentucky, he was the son of the late Jerry Rose and Elizabeth (Collins) Rose.
December 22, 1961 he married Elsie Ann (Nolan) Rose, who passed away May 22, 2016.
Dick served in the U.S Army and retired from the Ford Motor Company after almost 29 years.
He was a member of the Salem Presbyterian Church, was a Past Master Mason with the Salem Masonic Lodge #21 F. & A.M.
and he loved farming and his cattle.
Survivors include:
Daughter: Connie (Duane) Roach of Salem, Indiana;
Son: Mark Rose of Rockport, Indiana.
4 Grandchildren;
Kyle (Cassandra) Rose,
Nicole (Brandon) Blasdel,
Kolton and Kade Roach
and 1 great granddaughter, Estes Rose.
He was preceded in death by
1 infant grandson Kash Wyatt Roach, a daughter-in-law, Peggine Rose
and 10 brothers and sisters: Dillard, Elo, William, Wilburn, Albert, Clinton and James Rose; Waneda, Alarina and Laura Rose.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Thursday and after 10 am Friday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Friday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Rev. Beth Walden-Fisher & Pastor Richard Clark officiating.
Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery in Salem, Indiana.
