Della Mae (Starr) Brace

Della Mae Brace fulfilled her wish of meeting her Heavenly Father on October 13, 2023.

Della was born in English, IN on March 18,1934 to Dovie and Perry Starr, but Della lived all of her adult life in Salem.

Surviving are daughters Terri Dawson (Philip) of Richland, MI, and Tracy Logan (H) of Simpsonville, KY, and a son Brett Williams (Susie) of Clewiston, FL.
Della is a grandmother to 9, and great grandmother to 12.

Della was preceded in death by a son, Michael, and daughter, Jan John (Maurice), as well as her husband, Bill Brace.

Della was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church in Salem.

At 89, Della lived a full life.  She loved playing cards, gardening, and was an avid reader.  Della's vivacious spirit was infectious, and will be missed by all that knew her.

Visitation will be at Dawalt Funeral home in Salem on Saturday, Oct. 21 from 11-2 pm, with service at 2 pm.

Burial to follow in Crown Hill cemetery in Salem

A celebration of life will follow the burial at the Moose Lodge in Salem.
