David Futter, age 74 of Pekin, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, with his beloved wife, Donna, at his side.
Born October 10, 1946 in New Albany, Indiana, he was the son of the late Carl and Margaret (Amacher) Futter.
He was a plumber by trade, work worked hard for his family. David enjoyed spending time with his family, going to Holiday World, and Camping at Lincoln Park. He was a woodworker, mechanic, and musician (harmonica, mouth harp, piano, saxophone and vocals). David believed in God; full of love, laughter and life.
On November 29, 1968 he married the love of his life, Donna (Hottel) Futter, who survives.
Also surviving are his children: Susan (William) Radford, John (Tonya) Futter, Matthew (Ella) Futter, Sarah (Jeffrey) Baker, Amy (Mac) McDaniel, Jeremiah (Angela) Futter, Steven (Olivia) Futter. His grandchildren: Chris Radford, Tyler Radford, Caleb Futter, Noah Futter, Kaytlin Futter, Cole Futter, Kellsie Futter, Tristan McDaniel, Jaxon Futter, and great grandson, Baby Radford. He is also survived by his brother, Michael Futter and his children.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother Carl Futter.
The family is forever grateful to the staff at Meadow View Health and Rehabilitation and Healthcare works who supported David over the last several years.
Funeral Service and visitation are being held privately by the family.
