Cindy Ravenette (Gilstrap) Smith

Cindy Ravenette Smith, age 59 of Pekin, Indiana passed away Sunday, August 23, 2020 at 09:25 am, in Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Salem, Indiana. 
Born September 12, 1960 in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Otto Gilstrap and Lois A. (Box) Gilstrap.  
Life resident of Washington County  
She married Mark Edward  McCutcheon, who passed away August 27, 1970 
Cindy was a graduate of Ivy Tech with an associates degree in Nursing and she was an employee of Harrison County Hospital in Corydon for 20 plus years as an Registered Nurse and a former employee of Green Valley Nursing Home in New Albany.
October 18, 1997 she married  Larry "Joby" Smith.
She loved spending all her time with her grandkids and her family.
Survivors include: 
Husband: Larry Smith of Pekin; 
Son: Jeremy (Kendra) McCutcheon of Borden, Indiana;   
Daughter: Rusty (Shane) Wisman of Pekin, Indiana;   
Stepson: Bradley (William) Villegas of Leavenworth;   
Stepdaughter: Jessica (Clint) Guthrie of Henryville, Indiana;   
Sister: Tia (Ed) Hatcher of Salem, Indiana;   
Brother: Galen Gilstrap of Salem, Indiana;   
Brother: Tony Gilstrap of Salem, Indiana.   
She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchildren.   .  
She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Jessica Marie McCutcheon,  4 brothers: Rodney, Nicky, Lonnie and Lannie Gilstrap, 1 sister, Christy Gilstrap.  

Funeral Service: 12:00 Noon Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Bro. Toney McCutcheon officiating.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Friday  and 11 am to Noon Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home
