Cecil O. Miller
Obituary
Cecil O. Miller, age 89 of Salem, passed away Sunday, April 9, 2023.
Born February 8, 1934 in Pekin, Indiana, he was the son of the late Edgar C. and Mary M. (Elliott) Miller.
He was the retired owner of the old Miller Sawmill and the old Miller Hardware Store in Salem, served in the Armed Forces as a Spec 4 in the U.S. Army and had been a life resident of Washington County.
On April 22, 1961 he married Evelyn A. (Hanka) Miller, who survives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters and brothers in law, Frances (Jesse) Brown and Josephine (Bruce) Bartlett.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Wednesday at Dawalt Funeral Home, followed by interment in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery with full military honors.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Tuesday and 9 am until the time of the service on Wednesday.
