Bonnie Sons Obituary

Bonnie Jean Sons, age 92 of Salem, passed away Saturday, March 12, 2022 in Salem Crossing.

Born October 29, 1929 in Salem, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Omer and Carrie (Weller) Lloyd.

She was a retired employee of the old Smith Cabinet Manufacturing Company in Salem, a member of the West Side Baptist Church and had been a life resident of Washington County.

On April 20, 1946 she married James Sons, who passed away January 26, 2018.

Survivors include: Daughter: Marquita (John) Myers of Hardinsburg; Son: Chris Sons of Salem; Sister: Deanna (Katie) Nelson of Georgia; 2 granddaughters: Amelia (Rick) Voyles of Salem and Lora (Brad) Sons of Hardinsburg and 2 great grandchildren: Gannon James and Ruby Jean.

She was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Robert L. and Dean Lloyd and 4 sisters: Janie Tichenour, Ella Ferree, Laura Bush and Joel Bush.

Private Services were held and interment was in Crown Hill Cemetery
