Obituary

Bert Alan Houston, age 58 of Campbellsburg, Indiana passed away Sunday, March 19, 2023 at 12:00 pm, in his residence.

Born October 11, 1964 in Indianapolis, Indiana, he was the son of the late Rodney R. Houston Sr. and Gladys Beverly (Foster) Houston.

He was a retired Terazzo Floor Finisher with the Brick Layer's Union and Allied Craft Worker in Indianapolis, was a 1983 graduate of West Washington High School and was a member of the American Legion.

Survivors include: 2  Sons: Chris Houston of Sellersburg and Brian Houston of Salem;  Daughter: Samantha (Josh) Bolin of French Lick;  Fiancée: Christy Dodson and her Daughter, Heaven Girdley;  5 Sisters Audrey Donais, Nancy (Bob) Beall, Dusty Dill, Laurie (Jr.) Guntle and Vickie Kniesly;  2 Brothers: Lenny (Sandy) Houston and Danny Houston and grandchildren: Rylynn McDonald, Colt Bolin and Anslee and Brinley Girdley,

Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home, followed by interment in Crown Hill Cemetery.
Visitation: 10 am until the time of the service on Thursday.
