Barbara Elizabeth (Short) Dugger

Barbara Elizabeth Dugger, age 76 of Pekin, Indiana passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at 7:39 pm, in her residence. Born November 22, 1946 in Salem, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Arvel Short and Naomi Erlenia (Hayes) Short. 
On February 1965 she married Morse R. Dugger
She attended the Olive Branch Church was a native of Washington County and had been a resident of Florida since 1970 and retired in 1995 from the Port St. Lucie Hospital in Florida.     

Survivors include: Husband: Morse R. Dugger,  Daughter: Billie Dugger of Winter Park, Florida; Daughter: Bobbie Truesdell of Howie in the Hills, Florida;   Sister: Louise  Hollobaugh  of Ft. Pierce, Florida;   Sister: Audrey May of Franklin, Indiana and a half brother: Charles King of Pekin, Indiana.
She was preceded in death by Siblings, Freddy and Jimmy Arvel Short and Frances Judy Higham.  
Funeral Service: 3:00 pm Monday at Dawalt Funeral Home  with Bro. Randy Albertson.
Visitation: 2 to 3 pm Monday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
