Bailey Layne Hamilton

Bailey Layne Hamilton, age 22 of Salem, passed away Thursday, November 22, 2018 at 3:27 am, in Norton Hospital Louisville.

Born July 12, 1996 in Salem, Indiana, he was the son of Duane and Lana (Campbell) Hamilton.

He had been a life resident of Washington County and was a 2015 Salem High School graduate. He was an avid University of Kentucky fan, a Salem Lions fan and an honorary member of the Salem Football Alumni.  He was lovingly cared for by the nurses of Pediatric Plus.

Survivors include: His parents: Duane and Lana Hamilton of Salem;  Sister: Paige (Alex) Devliegher of Indianapolis;  Grandparents: Terry and Richard Dixon and Ruthie Campbell, all of Salem and Great Grandmother: Maxine Costin of Salem.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Cobert Campbell and great grandfather, Ernie Costin.

Funeral Service: 12:00 Noon Monday at Southern Hills Church with Pastor Sid Dye & Bro. Steve Corp officiating.  Burial will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Visitation: 3 to 8 pm Sunday at Dawalt Funeral Home and 9 am until the time of the service on Monday at Southern Hills Church.
