Obituary
Anita S. Poorman, age 93 of Terre Haute, Indiana passed away Thursday, April 27, 2023 at 9:15 pm, in her residence.
Born September 1, 1929 in Salem, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Lorraine and Helen (Barrett) Short.
She was a homemaker and retired piano teacher and was a member of the Seelyville United Methodist Church. She had been a resident of Terre Haute for many years and was formerly of Salem, Bloomington and Columbus.
On August 25, 1951 she married Lawrence E. Poorman, who passed away February 18, 2008.
She is survived by 5 grandchildren and was preceded in death by 2 sons, Kevin L. and Kyle B. Poorman.
A private burial was held at Crown Hill Cemetery.
