Violet Malott, age 95 of Salem, Indiana passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 9:28 pm in her residence.
Born February 13, 1923 in Campbellsburg, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Burley E. Smith and
Blanche (Bundy) Smith.Violet was married to Eli J. Malott who precedes her in death.
She was an employee of B.F. Goodrich in Salem for 20 years, was a member
of the First Baptist Church of Campbellsburg, a life resident of Washington County and a member of the
Campbellsburg Grace Rebekah Lodge #856.
Survivors include: Daughter Alicia (Jerry Knoy) Miller of Salem; Daughter:
Beverly (Johnny) Wheeler of Campbellsburg, Indiana;
Son: Larry (Carol) Malott of Mitchell, Indiana; Sister: Carol (Bill) Livesay of Salem;
Brother: Melvin (Jo Ann) Smith of Campbellsburg.
She is also survived by 15 grandchildren, and 22 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 daughter, Martina Robinson;
1 sister, 5 brothers, 2 grandsons: Timmy and Jr. Robinson and
1 great grandson Harley McVay.

There will be visitation hours from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday and
after 9 am Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
Funeral Service: 11:00 am Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Berry officiating.
Interment will follow the service at Hop Cemetery near Campbellsburg.
