Lonnie R. "Freck" Gilstrap, age 68 of Salem, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018 in St. Vincent Salem Hospital.
Born December 21, 1949 in Salem, Indiana, he was the son of Otto and Lois A. (Box) Gilstrap.
He was the owner/operator of Gilstrap Guttering and on December 30, 1988 he married Deborah (Broce) Gilstrap, who survives. Also surviving are: Daughter: Jill Ashworth of Texas; Stepdaughter: Deborah Wells of Indianapolis; 3 Stepsons: Erik Wells of Sellersburg, Aaron Wells of Mahomet, Illinois and Adrian Wells of Jeffersonville; His Mother: Lois Gilstrap of Salem; 2 Brothers: Galen and Tony Gilstrap of Salem; 2 Sisters: Cindy R. Smith and Tia R. Bennett of Pekin; 16 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Otto Gilstrap, son Rodney D. Gilstrap and 3 brothers, Rodney, Nicky and Lannie Gilstrap.

The Services will be Private.
