Leny J. "Linda" Hayes, age 70 of Salem, passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2019, in the University Of Louisville Hospital.

Born January 15, 1949 in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Gracie Lucille (Hayes) Grimes.

She was a retired employee of the old Michelin Tire Company in Scottsburg and had been a resident of Washington County for most of her life.

Survivors include: Daughter: Cassandra Blevins of Salem; Sister: Kathy Coombs of Zanesville, Ohio; 2 nephews, whom she raised: Terry and Coby Hayes; 1 grandson and several other nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by 5 sisters and 5 brothers.

The services will be private.
