Joyce Marie (Leham) Morris

Joyce Marie Morris, age 82 of Salem, passed away Monday, September 10, 2018, peacefully at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Born October 22, 1935 in St. John, New Brunswick, Canada, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Farris and Marion Elizabeth (Court) Leham.
On September 20, 1952, she married Kenneth Morris, who preceded her in death.  They were married for 53 years.
Joyce became a U.S. citizen on May 19, 1964.  She was a member of the Blue River Baptist Church, where she actively served and was a retired cook at the Franklin Elementary and East Washington Schools.
Survivors include: 3 Sons: David (Vivian) Morris and Steve Morris of Salem and Ken (Michele) Morris of Lapeer, Michigan;  2 Daughters: Debra Walker of Sellersburg and Jeannie (Rusty) Hudson of Salem;  Grandsons: Devin Morris, Matthew Harris, John Harris, Dean Harris, Michael McCoskey, Mitch McCoskey, Andrew Hudson, Matthew Hudson and Brock Morris and Granddaughters: Jessica Morris, Laura Young, Toni Albertson, Logan Nantz, Hannah Walker, LeeAnn Reilly and Ava Morris.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 1 sister and 1 brother.

Funeral Service: 11 am Friday at the Blue River Baptist Church with Rev. Shane Morgan officiating.
Visitation: 3 to 8 pm Thursday at Dawalt Funeral Home and 9 am until the time of the service Friday at Blue River Baptist Church.
Interment at Blue River Baptist Cemetery
