John Pierce Obituary

J. P. Pierce, age 57 of Pekin, passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 in St. Vincent Salem Hospital.
Born August 7, 1962 in Marathon, Florida, he was the son of the late Ronald and Martha (Thompson) Pierce.
He was a member of the Best Buy Geek Squad in Clarksville for 10 years and a former diesel mechanic, Army tank mechanic, computer guru and jack of all trades. He had been a resident of Washington County for the past 11 years and was formerly of Kentucky and Florida. He as a member of the Marathon, Florida Masonic Lodge and loved golfing and bowling.
On January 1, 1994, J. P. married Billie Jo (Bass) Pierce, who survives.
Also surviving are: 2 Sons: Evan Pierce of Louisville and Mark Bass of Salem:
Brother: Ron Pierce of Kentucky; Sister: Maryann Sprinkle of Marathon, Florida ; 2 grandchildren: Braxton and Braylee Bass and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Service: 6:00 pm Sunday at Dawalt Funeral Home, followed by a Masonic Memorial Service by the Salem Masonic Lodge #21 F. & A. M.
Visitation: 4 to 7 pm Saturday and 4 pm until the time of the service on Sunday
