Homer E. Bowling, age 74 of Salem, passed away Friday, November 3, 2017 at 10:20 pm, in Baptist Health Floyd. Born September 10, 1943 in Salem, Indiana, he was the son of the late Chester and Virgie (Davidson) Bowling. He was a former employee of the old Smith Cabinet Manufacturing Company in Salem and the old Reynolds Construction Company in Orleans. He attended the West Side Baptist Church and had been a life resident of Washington County. Survivors include: Daughter: Melissa Bowling, Salem; Son: Robbie Bowling, Frankfort, Kentucky; 3 Brothers: Mack Bowling of Illinois and Arthur and Ralph Bowling, Salem; 3 Sisters: Ruthena Baker, Liberty, Indiana, Connie Miller, Pekin and Shirley Bowling, Salem and 2 grandsons. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
A Graveside Service will be held: 11:00 am Monday at Olive Branch Cemetery.
