Harold "Tom" Chastain

Harold "Tom" Chastain, age 59 of Salem, Indiana passed away Thursday, May 11, 2017 at 1:30 pm in his residence.  Born May 14, 1957 in Salem, he was the son of the late Harold E. Chastain and Mary C. (Brown) Chastain.  He married February 14, 1986 to Lisa Sue (Collins) Chastain.  He was a life resident of Washington County and graduated Salem High School in 1975.  Tom retired from Kimball International after 41 years.   He was also former employee of Washington County Emergency Medical Service, a former  volunteer fire fighter with the Salem Fire Department  and was a Chaplain with the Salem Fraternal Order Of Eagles #3516. He is survived by his:  Wife, Lisa Sue (Collins) Chastain,  Daughter: Kelly (Zeppelin) Perry, of Salem;   Daughter: Lacey (Jesse) Bane, of Pekin, Indiana;   Brother: Dennis Chastain, of Salem; Sister: Lou Ann Hamilton, of Salem.  He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by 6 brothers & 2 sisters.

Visitation will be from: 4 to 8 pm Sunday and 9 to 11 am Monday at Dawalt Funeral Home with
