Bonnie C. "Granny" Strong, age 93 of Little York, Indiana passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at 10:23 pm, in her residence.
Born November 23, 1925 in Mishawaka, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Laurence W. and Wanda L. (Reynolds) Foley.
She was a homemaker and a former employee of the old Robinson's Department Store in Florida. She was a member of the Little York Christian Church and sang in the choir. She had been a resident of Washington County since 1986, formerly of St. Petersburg, Florida. She was a 1943 graduate of Mishawaka High School, loved sewing, arts and crafts, gardening and working with her flowers and she was one great cook.
On March 25, 1981 she married Delmer "Bud" Strong, who survives.
Also surviving are: Son: Thomas (Nancy) Stump of North Liberty, Indiana; Daughter: Nancy (John) Hahn of Osceola, Indiana; 3 Granddaughters: Kristy (Adam) Kelly of Salem, Michele (James) Litteral of Mishawaka and Rebecca (Gery) Mullins of Mishawaka; 9 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Angela Brooks.
Funeral Service: 1:00 pm Tuesday at Dawalt Funeral Home followed by interment in Little York Cemetery.
Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Monday and 11 am to 1 pm Tuesday.
