Darryl
I am so sorry to hear about your loss and I am sorry that I couldn't make it down to help celebrate Paulette's life. I met her first when you showed up at the shop unannounced on a Saturday and brought her with you. You told me, "show her the picture of that baby".  Referring to the picture my wife and I had recently received from Romania of our daughter we we were adopting. Not even knowing me, Paulette got teary eyed and told me that she hoped it all went well. I will always remember that. I will also always remember the stories that you would tell me on our many business trips for GKN. I always laughed so hard and thought there is no way they could be true. At your retirement dinner, I asked Paulette about some of those stories and she confirmed they were true!  Even the one about the horse shoe pits and the telephone!  You know what I'm talking about!
Again, Darryl. I'm so sorry and I would like for you to contact me sometime. I don't work in Franklin anymore but if you are ever in the area, I'm close in Mooresville. Email me and I will give you my cell or Jamie or Jim Abbett can give it to you.
