Howard E. Collier

Howard E. Collier, age 73 of Marengo, passed away Tuesday, July 18, 2017 in Springs Valley Meadows at French Lick.  Born December 2, 1943 in Salem, Indiana, he was the son of the late Howard L.  and Flora E. (Cox) Collier.  He was a retired employee of the old Childcraft Industries in Salem and a member of the Paoli Moose Lodge.   Howard married May 28, 1967 to Carolyn Sue (Hammond) Collier, who passed away May 31, 2016.  Survivors include: 3 Sons: Richard and Charles "Charlie" Collier of Marengo and Danny Collier of Fredericksburg; 3 Daughters: Frances Speedy of Eckerty, Jacqueline "Jackie" Knight of Paoli and Carrie Hurt of Stendal, Indiana; 4 Sisters: Joyce Wolfe and Sandra Konkle of Salem and Faye Linn and Sue Owen of Gas City; 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by 1 son, Howard William Collier, 3 sisters, Martha Sama, Josephine Lewis and Edna Graves and 1 brother, Herb Collier.

Graveside Service:  3:00 pm Tuesday at Conway Cemetery.
