Emma D. (Robertson) Stephens

Emma D. (Robertson) Stephens, age 84, of North Vernon, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017.  Born August 23, 1932 in Springville, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Lula (Scarborough) Robertson.  She was a member of the Christian Church, had been a resident of North Vernon for the past 21 years, formerly of Salem, and was a 1951 high school graduate from Springville, Tennessee.  Emma married December 12, 1952 to the late Clarence D. Stephens.  Surviving are: 1 Son Michael (Lilo) Stephens, Arlington, Virginia; 1 Sister Masel (Robertson) Toungette, Brewton, Alabama; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband Clarence Stephens; 1 daughter Teresa Sullivan; 4 brothers Paul Robertson, Jr., Kenneth Robertson, Clarence Robertson, and Oscar Robertson.

Funeral Service: 11:00 am Saturday at Dawalt Funeral Home.
   Visitation: 4 to 8 pm Friday and after 9 am Saturday.
      Interment at Crown Hill Cemetery.
